“I promise not to use your email for anything other than what you gave it to me for.”

That’s the spirit of it. Below is the substance the law asks for — and it asks for it rightly. If you write to me through the form, here’s exactly what happens to what you send.

Who handles your data

This site (one-of-us.studio) and the One-Of-Us© project are run by Elizabeth Ibáñez Justicia, independent researcher, in La Bisbal del Penedès, Catalunya, Spain — the data controller. You can reach me at contact@one-of-us.studio.

What I collect

Only what you type into the form: your email address and your message. Nothing more. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.

Why, and on what basis

To read your message and reply to you — nothing else. The legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the box and send the form.

Who else it passes through

Your submission is delivered through Formspree (Formspree, Inc., United States), so your data is transferred outside the EEA under Formspree’s terms and safeguards. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard aggregate server logs (requests and the like, not the content of your message). The fonts are served from this site itself, so no request is made to Google or any other third party while you browse.

How long I keep it

Only as long as I need to handle your message, then I delete it. I don’t build a mailing list out of it and I don’t pass it to anyone for any other purpose.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you, correct or delete your data, or to stop using it — just write to contact@one-of-us.studio. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
